For over 40 years Mr. Drendel has been lead counsel in cases as diverse as trucking collisions, automobile collisions, traumatic brain injury cases, forest fires, ski accidents, boating accidents, product liability, sexual abuse by psychologists, psychiatrists, and members of the clergy. He has successfully tried to jury verdict and bench trial cases resulting in millions of dollars of recovery for his clients. He has been selected by his peers for inclusion in the Best Lawyers in America and Super Lawyers. He is a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, an Associate of the American Board of Trial Advocates, a member of the Litigation Counsel of America and is included in the top 100 Trial Lawyers of the American Trial Lawyers Association.
During his career Mr. Drendel was extremely active as an advocate on behalf of injured individuals at the Nevada Supreme Court as the Chairman of the Amicus Curiae Committee of the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association where he served for 16 years. He also coordinated strategy for over 25 precedent setting cases at the Nevada Supreme Court on behalf of injured victims in a variety of landmark cases. Mr. Drendel served on the Board of Governors of the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association and was editor of the Nevada Trial Lawyers Association Magazine, The Advocate. He has written over 20 articles and has served as a lecturer and moderator at seminars on a variety of personal injury legal topics. Mr. Drendel has also lobbied on several bills at the Nevada State Legislature regarding rights of Nevada consumers.
Mr. Drendel is a Nevada native, born and raised in Reno, Nevada., He graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno with his undergraduate degree. We then went to the University of Pacific, McGeorge School of Law.
